Predecessors read exactly like you learned them: 12, 12SS, 12FF, 12FS+3d, comma-separated. The Successors column mirrors automatically — type 14SS+2d on task 5 and task 14 gains the complement. All four MS Project constraint types, an independent deadline diamond, and a full backward pass: Late Start, Late Finish, Total and Free Float. Negative float shows red everywhere — grid, Gantt, exports. Widen the critical threshold to catch near-critical work before it goes critical.
Snapshot the plan at award, keep up to five named baselines, and draw any of them as gray bars under the live schedule. Start Var and Finish Var columns use the MS Project sign convention — positive slipped red, negative ahead green — and rows that slip get a red row number.
One dialog sets the data date and records per-task actuals, with "on plan" shortcuts for the easy ones. Completed work anchors at its actual dates, in-progress work resumes no earlier than the data date with retained logic, and the whole round is one Ctrl+Z. The blue data-date line draws on the Gantt and in PDFs.
