STEP 1 · EDITING
Click a cell and type. Enter commits and moves down, Tab moves right, and a block pasted from Excel lands cell by cell. Drag the fill handle and “Area 01” continues as Area 02, Area 03. Ctrl+Z undoes up to 100 steps.

Predecessors read the way you learned them: 12, 12SS, 12FF, 12FS+3d. The Successors column mirrors every link. Insert or delete rows and each reference renumbers itself, because links live on stable task identities underneath.

STEP 3 · CPM
A full forward and backward pass gives Late Start, Late Finish, Total and Free Float. Negative float shows red in the grid, the Gantt and every export. A deadline draws a diamond that turns red when the finish lands late.
-3d float — Waterproofing & drainage grew from 6d to 9d, so the chain runs late and Slab on grade misses its deadline.
STEP 4 · BASELINES
Snapshot the plan at award and keep up to five named baselines, drawn as gray bars under the live schedule. Start Var and Finish Var follow MS Project’s signs: positive slipped red, negative ahead green. Slipped rows get a red row number.

STEP 5 · UPDATES
One dialog sets the data date and records actuals for each task, with “Use scheduled start” shortcuts for the easy ones. Completed work keeps its actual dates, unfinished work resumes from the data date, and one Ctrl+Z undoes the round.

STEP 6 · SUBMITTALS
A one-click schedule quality audit adapted from the DCMA assessment: missing logic, leads, lags, hard constraints, float, baselines and more. Thresholds are editable per project; select a failed check to find its tasks, then export a letterhead PDF report.

STEP 7 · MASTER PLAN
Selected projects share one date axis, and anyone booked on two jobs the same day is flagged beside it. Crews see the plan you last published until you press Publish.
