The Company page

The Company page, where a company admin runs the company, one section at a time, from users and standards to billing and training.

The Company page is where a company admin runs the company: its people and roles, its groups, the standards new projects start from, billing and licenses, integrations, the activity feed and training. It shows one section at a time; each section is summed up here with a link to the page that explains it in full.

Where to find it

Open Company in the sidebar (under Administration). The scope control's menu also carries a Manage entry for each company you administer. The page head reads Company, with the company's name and "company administration" under it, and a Refresh button. Partner staff open a client company's Company page from Manage… on their partner dashboard.

The sections run as tabs under the page head. On a narrow window — below 900 pixels wide, or beside the pinned sidebar up to 1,175 — they become a Section menu instead. Each section has its own page address, so the browser's Back button walks through them and you can send a link to another admin. Moving between sections keeps your place: focus, scroll and filters are where you left them.

The sections

Overview

  • Projects — every project in the company with its status, task count, last update and a Schedule checks score (the share of the schedule quality checks that pass, worked out after the page opens), plus Open, which opens it in the editor, and History…, which opens it with its History. Training course projects are left out and counted in one line.
  • Roster & equipment — a link to the Roster & equipment page, where the company's roster and fleet live. See The Roster & equipment page.

Users & access

  • Users — everyone with access, with their role, an invited or disabled badge, and when they were last seen; the add-user form sits below. See Invitations and password resets.
  • Master planning — who may publish the plan crews see, restore an earlier version of a Live project, and open the Master plan and People. Company admins have it by role; tick any other Editor or Admin. See Who can see and do what.
  • Memberships — the matrix of people against the company and its groups, with a role in each cell. See Companies, groups and roles.

Organization

Standards

  • Company defaults — the company's logo, default colors and default print layout (below).
  • Calendar standards — the work calendars new projects start from. See Company calendar standards.
  • Project types and project templates — the starting points for new projects. See Project types and templates.
  • Company columns — the company's own columns in every project's grid. See Company columns.

Billing & licenses

  • License — how many licenses are in use against the limit, the billing status, the renewal date, and Buy licenses… or Manage billing…. See Licenses and billing.

Integrations

Activity

  • Recent activity — a feed of saves and admin actions, newest first. Saving, changing and deleting a saved version show in it too, under Everything, and every restore from History adds two rows, restored project and restored version, which Projects shows. See Security and sign-in.

Training

  • Training — the company's courses, while training is on. This tab appears only after Enable training. See Training.

Company defaults

The Company defaults card on Standards holds three things every project can draw on.

  • Logo — Upload logo… (PNG, JPEG or WebP), then Change logo… or Remove. It appears on PDF exports and the company header.
  • Default colors — named colors (up to 20) added with + Add color…. A new project starts with them, and Apply company defaults in an existing project's settings adds any that are missing and updates the color of any it shares a name with.
  • Print preset — a default print layout for PDF exports. Set one from Export ▾ → PDF… → Set as company default…; Clear removes it.

Several companies

If you are an Admin of more than one company, a Company menu in the page head switches between them and keeps the section you are on. Opening Company with no company chosen shows Your companies: one small card per company, each with Manage….

Who can use it

A company Admin — an Admin of the company itself, not of one of its groups — and partner staff, for the companies their partner looks after. Editors, Field users and group admins don't see the Company row in the sidebar, and a link to the page shows "Company isn't available". A field-only account lands on My tasks instead. See Who can see and do what.

Good to know

  • Each section loads on its own. If one fails to load, it says so with Retry, in that section only.
  • If Ganttry refuses a change, the reason shows beside the control you used, with Reload section. Reloading never sends the change again — make it again from the same control.
  • A company you may not see and one that doesn't exist get the same answer: "Company isn't available".
  • The Schedule checks score on the Overview is worked out for the 15 most recently updated projects that aren't archived; the others, and every archived project, show "—" (open the project and run its quality checks instead).
