Crew paper: the handout, the itinerary and the master sheet

A crew link and the Day plan need a connection. Crew paper is the backup: a printed sheet of the same plan, for the truck, the trailer wall or a site with no signal. Every sheet is a real PDF.

Printing from a phone or tablet#

On a crew link, an itinerary link or the Day plan, the print button opens the PDF in your device's print dialog. When the browser won't open it in a new tab, it is saved as a file instead, so you can print or share it from there.

On every sheet#

Every page carries a header with the project or person and the dates, the screen's own stamp (which plan it shows, Published … or Live · updated …), Printed on: with the time, and at the foot The plan may have changed since this was printed. with Page N of M.

Crew handout#

Print crew handout is at the foot of a crew link, and in the Share dialog's preview, where the sheet carries your company logo when one is set. It prints the week on screen, cut to what the link shows:

• the project, the week, your company and the site address;
• the whole-project note and each day's notes ticked for crews;
• each day's tasks with their status, the Crew: line naming the people booked that day, the Equipment: line, then the Tools: line, and your company's library columns the link carries;
• task notes, when the link includes them.

When the week has more than one trade, a choice beside the button limits the sheet to one: Whole crew, or a trade such as Laborer only. The choice is made at print and never saved.

Itinerary#

Print itinerary is at the foot of an itinerary link and in the Roster & equipment page's preview; Print in the person's Itinerary section prints it too. It prints the person's week: each day's projects, every project block with its address and its notes for crews, the person's tasks there, and the days with nothing planned. A day with two projects says so. A task the person is booked on for only some of its days prints on those days alone, and a working day of a stay with no task for them anywhere prints the project's block with On Bridge 12 · no task.

My week#

Print my week in the Day plan prints your own week on the same sheet as the crew handout, including days with a crew note, as the Day plan shows them.

Master sheet#

On the master plan, the Print menu next to Publish… prints:

• the week sheet, for every week the window touches: projects down the side, Monday to Sunday across, with the work and names on each day and a person on two projects that day in amber, then a table of where every person and machine is each day;
• a day sheet for today (or the window's first day) and the day after: each project's work, the crew booked that day, equipment (then that day's Tools: line) and day notes, then where each roster person is;
• Choose days…: tick any of the window's days and they print as one PDF, a day sheet each, each numbered on its own. Ticking a week ticks its days with work or a day note.

Every row carries its site address, or Site address not entered.

When a project on the sheet is a Draft, the menu offers two plans. What crews see is the default and prints every Draft project's published plan. Latest plan (Draft) prints your latest plan with a DRAFT band on every page and each Draft row marked. See Draft and Publish.

From People#

On People, Print ▾ is the master plan's menu, and its sheets are titled People. A day sheet there covers only the projects with a named booking that day. Company admins also get Itineraries for the people shown…: pick a week, and each person shown prints on their own itinerary sheet, all in one PDF, up to 50 people.

Who can use it#

Anyone who has the view can print it: a crew member with a link prints the handout or itinerary, anyone signed in prints My week, people with the Master planning capability print the master sheets, and anyone who can open People prints its sheets. See Who can see and do what.

Good to know#

• The sheets print the plan as it was when you printed. Check the stamp and the printed time against the screen.
