The Day plan

The Day plan shows your own work day by day across every project you are on, the same view a crew link gives, for anyone signed in.

The Day plan is your own work, day by day, on every project you are on. It is the signed-in version of what a crew link shows, for Field accounts and planners alike.

On the phone and tablet

The Day plan opens on today. Step through days with ‹ and ›, or tap Today to come back. Days that aren't working days and have no work are skipped, unless a note is dated that day.

Where to find it

On My tasks, use Day plan, or Day plan → at the foot of the TODAY card. The card is a preview of this plan: today and the next day, each with your projects, their notes for crews and the tasks you are booked on.

The day and week layouts

  • Day or Week: one day at a time, or the whole week.
  • Mine or Everyone: Mine shows your own tasks. Everyone shows every task on the projects you have work on that day, with a You pill on yours. It never shows more than a crew link would.
  • Refresh reloads the plan. If the connection stalls, the Day plan stops waiting after 30 seconds, keeps what it last showed, and says Could not refresh the day plan — check your connection. Tap Refresh to try again.

Each day lists the project's ON SITE notes, the same notes the Work page shows under TODAY ON SITE. Each task's crew line names the people booked that day, and its tools follow the equipment line.

A task you are booked on for only some of its days is yours on those days alone: Mine shows it only then, and Everyone puts the You pill on it only then.

When a planner keeps you on a project between tasks with a stay (see People), a working day of the stay with no task for you anywhere still shows that project and its address, with On Bridge 12 · no task.

Which plan it shows

The Day plan shows what crews see: for a Draft project, the plan crews were last published. A planner gets one line under that project's name, for example:

Bookings are part of the plan, so on a Draft project new bookings reach the Day plan with the next publish. A stay shows at once, without a publish. See Draft and Publish.

What prints

Print my week prints your own week on the same sheet as a crew handout, including days with a crew note, as the Day plan shows them. See Crew paper.

Who can use it

Anyone signed in with a connected company: Field accounts, Admins and Editors. See Who can see and do what.
